Adam Gallagher

Adam Gallagher currently serves as Editor in Chief at the United States Institute of Peace, where notable achievements include increasing website traffic by over 300% and tripling weekly content production and newsletter subscriptions. Gallagher directs editorial strategy for publications and newsletters, collaborates with leadership to create timely content, and establishes new partnerships for editorial distribution. Additionally, Gallagher holds positions as Strategic Leaders Fellow at The John Quincy Adams Society and Contributing Fellow at Defense Priorities. Previous experience includes roles at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, EXOVERA, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Tharwa Foundation, and The Washington Center. Gallagher earned a Master of Arts in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ohio Northern University.
