Galen Gammino is a Research Analyst at the United States Institute of Peace, where employment began in August 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant on the Global Campus at American University from August 2019 to August 2021 and as a Graduate Assistant for the DC Reads Program at American University. Galen also contributed to education as an AmeriCorps Tutor at MATCH Charter Public School from August 2018 to June 2019 and participated in a policy and advocacy internship with SWEAT from September 2017 to January 2018. Galen holds a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution with a focus on Peacebuilding from the American University School of International Service, earned between 2019 and 2021, and a Bachelor’s degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and Sociology from Keene State College, completed in 2017.
