Karen Walsh

Karen Walsh is an accomplished Research, Engagement and Evaluation Officer at Hume City Council since October 2019, with a strong background in social and corporate research. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Corporate Planning Business Partner at City of Whittlesea on secondment, and held various positions at Merri-bek City Council, including Research Coordinator, Senior Research Officer, and Research Officer. Karen's earlier experience includes work as a Research Scientist at the Australian Road Research Board and as a Research Assistant at Queensland University of Technology, where contributions to various research projects have demonstrated skills in data gathering, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Karen holds a Master of Science with distinction in Applied Psychology from the University of Otago.
