Louis-Alexandre Berg currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Global Studies and Political Science at Georgia State University since September 2015 and holds the position of Jennings Randolph Senior Fellow at the United States Institute of Peace since May 2020. Prior to these roles, Berg was a Research Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University from August 2014 to August 2015 and worked as a Justice and Conflict Advisor at The World Bank from May 2011 to July 2015. Additional experience includes serving as a Security Sector Governance Advisor at the United States Institute of Peace from January 2011 to August 2012 and as a Rule of Law Advisor with the U.S. Agency for International Development from October 2004 to December 2010. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Political Science and Government from Georgetown University, a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
