Rachel Patterson

Rachel Patterson is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Family Defense Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service since January 2023. Previously, Rachel worked as a Family Defense Attorney at Still Rachel Rises, Tulsa, and has extensive experience in family defense practices through various roles at Brooklyn Defender Services and Neighborhood Defender Service. Rachel completed a legal internship at Lincoln Square Legal Services and gained foundational skills as a paralegal at Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo P.C. while supporting attorneys with victim compensation cases. Academically, Rachel earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Fordham University School of Law, where contributions included serving as a Stein Scholar and participating in the Fordham Urban Law Journal. Prior to legal education, Rachel engaged in community leadership through the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, focusing on youth-led social justice initiatives.
