Melissa Nozell

Melissa Nozell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in conflict management, peacebuilding, and interfaith relations. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the United States Institute of Peace, Melissa has collaborated with global stakeholders to enhance the role of religious actors in fostering inclusive peace efforts, while also contributing to strategic project design and implementation. Previous roles include support for the Syrian refugee crisis at Mercy Corps, research at The Pluralism Project at Harvard University, and program coordination at the Jordanian Interfaith Coexistence Research Center. Melissa holds a Master of Theological Studies in Islamic Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in South Asian Studies and Religion from Colgate University, highlighting a solid academic foundation in relevant fields.
