Paul Abutu

Paul Abutu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in peacebuilding and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as a Youth Country Liaison and member of the Youth Advisory Council at the United States Institute of Peace since January 2019, Paul also holds the position of Communication and Development Officer at Global Rights, where focus is placed on empowering activists and promoting human rights. Additionally, since January 2017, Paul has contributed as a Video Developer for Young Peacebuilders, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of youth in peacebuilding efforts. Paul completed a Master's degree in Conflict, Security, and Development at the Nigerian Defense Academy from 2019 to 2020 and has educational credentials from Salem University.
