Zakariya Ali-Ahmad

Zakariya Ali-Ahmad, MBA, has extensive experience in operations and compliance within the MENA region, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Regional Operations and Compliance at the United States Institute of Peace since April 2019, following various roles there, including Manager and Sr. Officer. Prior experience includes work as Finance and Compliance Manager at IREX and Finance and Operations Manager at Chemonics International Inc. Additionally, Zakariya has held accounting and administration positions at the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine, Palestine Trade Center-PalTrade, and Municipal Development and Lending Fund. Zakariya Ali-Ahmad holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, both from Birzeit University.
