Finbarr (Fin) Kirwan is a seasoned professional in sports management, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief of Olympic Sport at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee since May 2013. In this role, Fin leads a team focused on enhancing Olympic sport preparedness, supporting National Governing Bodies, and providing resources to athletes and coaches. Prior to this, Fin held positions including Vice President of Summer Sport and High Performance Director, overseeing strategic plans and high-performance teams at the Olympic Games. Fin's earlier experience includes serving as Director of High Performance at the Irish Sports Council and in client services roles at SoundBite Communications, Hill Holliday Advertising/MSP Group, and CMGI. Fin earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork and completed education at Presentation College, Cork.
