Nuwanee Kirihennedige

Nuwanee Kirihennedige, MS, RD, currently serves as the Senior Sports Dietitian at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee since January 2022. Previously, Nuwanee held positions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as the Performance Nutrition Coordinator from October 2018 to February 2022 and at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs as Graduate Faculty in Health Science from August 2015 to October 2018. Nuwanee also contributed as a Sports Nutrition Consultant for the United States Olympic Committee from January 2015 to October 2018, focusing on individual consultations and nutrition education. Earlier experience includes roles as a Registered Dietitian at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center and as a Performance Nutritionist Intern at Athletes' Performance/Attack Athletics. Nuwanee's academic background includes a Master of Science in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and an IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition.
