John Terry

John Terry has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. John is currently working at the U.S. Soccer Federation as a Senior Director, Events. Prior to this, they held positions at the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics as Director of Stadium Operations & Events, and at West Virginia University as an Athletics Facilities & Game Operations Graduate Assistant. John also served as a Board of Directors member for USA Ultimate and worked as the Managing Editor for The Daily Athenaeum. Additionally, they have experience with game operations and event management through positions at West Virginia University, the United States Olympic Committee, and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

John Terry completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sport Management from West Virginia University in 2012. John then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Sport Management from the same university, graduating in 2014. Prior to their university education, John attended the Paideia School. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Sports Security Professional (CSSP) from the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security in December 2019.
