Turan Mullins

Turan Mullins, Ed.D. has extensive experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. They currently hold the position of Vice President, Inclusion & Engagement at the U.S. Soccer Federation, where they are responsible for developing and implementing diversity initiatives. They also have their own consulting firm, Perspective Consulting LLC, where they work as a professional speaker and diversity consultant, helping organizations foster inclusive environments. Prior to these roles, they held various positions at Maryville University of Saint Louis, including Senior Advisor to the President for Access and Opportunity, Assistant Dean and Director for Diversity and Inclusion, and Director of Diversity and Inclusion. They also have experience in admissions counseling at Southeast Missouri State University. Additionally, they worked as a Give Respect Get Respect Facilitator at Diversity Awareness Partnership, where they administered an anti-bias program to middle and high school students.

Turan Mullins, Ed.D. completed a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Maryville University of Saint Louis in the years 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership from the same university from 2014 to 2017. In 2008, they graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Corporate Communications. Turan also holds a Certificate of Completion from the Social Justice Training Institute in 2017. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a certification in Cross-Cultural Communication Nano Tips with Jessica Chen through LinkedIn in 2023.
