Chance Saltzman serves as the Chief of Space Operations and Chief Operations Officer at the United States Space Force since August 2020. Prior to this, Chance held significant roles within the United States Air Force, including Deputy Commander of Air Forces Central Command and Director of Current Operations from December 2017 to May 2020, as well as Director of Future Operations from June 2016 to December 2017. In addition to military leadership, Chance was a National Security Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government during the 2008-2009 academic year. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Strategic Management from The George Washington University, a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Montana, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston University.
