Project Manager - Ground Based Radar (ssc-szq) at United States Space Force

Jefferson M. has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles within the United States Space Force, United States Air Force, and other organizations. Jefferson currently holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at the United States Space Force and has previously served as the Branch Chief of Future Partnerships and Lead of Partner Integration at the Combined Force Space Component Command. Prior to their role in the Space Force, they worked as the Deputy Program Manager at the National Geo-Spatial Intelligence Agency. Jefferson also has experience in entrepreneurship, having founded and served as the President of BLUF Military Benefits. In addition, they have been involved in innovation and coaching as an Innovation Coach at the Project Mercury Innovators Forum and as a member of Project Mercury Cohort 11. Throughout their career, Jefferson has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on innovation and problem-solving.

Jefferson M. completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Liberty University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing from Iowa State University from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Jefferson also holds several certifications, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020 and a Unit Security Manager certification from the United States Air Force in March 2017. Most recently, Jefferson acquired certifications in Space Design Innovation 101 from the National Security Space Institute and Certified Professional Innovator from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, both obtained in 2023.
