John Wong

John Wong currently serves as the Deputy Director of Engineering for Assured Access to Space at Space Systems Command, a position held since January 2025, while also fulfilling the role of NSSL Chief Engineer. With experience in the United States Space Force since July 2013, Wong has contributed to systems engineering and digital transformation efforts. Previous roles include MASIES Program Manager with the United States Air Force, where strategic planning for significant systems engineering contracts was executed, as well as various engineering leadership positions across multiple military and civilian organizations. Wong holds several degrees and certificates from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and the United States Air Force Academy, emphasizing a strong foundation in engineering, management, and space operations.
