Marquis Skinner

Marquis Skinner, MBA, PMP, currently serves as Detachment Chief for the United States Space Force since January 2022, overseeing operations at a satellite tracking station. Previously, Marquis held multiple roles in the United States Air Force, including Director of the IT and Facilities Project Management Office, where oversight of significant counter-space projects was sustained. Marquis has demonstrated expertise in program management, having established a project management office that successfully completed 13 projects, managed multimillion-dollar IT initiatives, and improved critical infrastructure. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Columbia Southern University, complemented by an Associate of Science in Information Technology Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
