The United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama, is an independent,accredited university dedicated to preparing men and women for careers ina variety of sports professions.The academics offered at the university consist of three degree programs,which are also available online: * Bachelor’s of Sports Science * Master’s of SportsScience * Doctor of Education in Sports ManagementSome areas of concentration which you can study include SportsManagement, Sports Coaching, Sports Studies and Sports Fitness.The department of continuing education offers online courses, certificateprograms and CEU credits for sports professionals. Some certificateprograms consist of Human Performance and Collegiate Compliance, PersonalTraining and Bodybuilding.Students may participate in the university’s mentorship program, whichallows you to perform on-site training at a sports-related organizationbased on your career goals. Depending on which organization you choose,you may be paid for your work.To enroll in a program, applicants must complete an online applicationform, submit official high school or GED transcripts, a personalstatement describing your career goals and motivation and acourse-by-course evaluation from an approved educational credentialevaluator.Tuition varies by the program in which you enroll. Financial aid isavailable to eligible students in a degree-seeking program throughAlabama Student Grant and Assistance programs, Pell grants, Staffordloans and SEO grants.
