Kendra Akin Jones

Kendra Akin Jones is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and sustainability. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel - Environmental at United States Steel Corporation since July 2021, Kendra previously held the position of Senior Counsel for Sustainability & Environmental at Tyson Foods from January 2018 to June 2021. Prior to that, Kendra was Director Senior Counsel at Windstream Enterprise and managed the contingencies team while overseeing litigation and disputes for the Fortune 500 telecommunications provider. Kendra began her legal career as a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Division of the Arkansas Attorney General's office from July 2005 to January 2015. Additionally, Kendra served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Ozarks. Kendra holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and has dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Political Science from the University of the Ozarks.
