Dana M Grethen has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Mental Health Practitioner at TERROS, providing crisis counseling and referrals. In 2008, they joined People Incorporated Mental Health Services, where they held various roles, including Mental Health Practitioner, Treatment Director, Clinical Supervisor, and Senior Program Manager. In these positions, they oversaw residential treatment programs, provided clinical supervision, and collaborated with community providers. From 2017 to 2019, Dana worked as a Treatment Director at Touchstone Mental Health, managing an intensive residential treatment program. Currently, since 2020, they hold the position of Director Of Behavioral Health at U.S.VETS, contributing their expertise in the behavioral health field.
Dana M Grethen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from Winona State University in 2002. Dana M then pursued a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Kansas, which they completed in 2005. In 2011, they obtained certification as a Licensed Individual Clinical Social Worker from the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
