Chelsey Engel

Chelsey Engel is an experienced communications specialist currently serving at United Steelworkers (USW) since January 2012, where responsibilities include hosting and producing the official union podcast, Solidarity Works, and writing for USW@Work magazine. Previous experience includes contributing as a writer to The Huffington Post's Queer Voices section and leading the Gay for Good chapter, which focuses on community volunteerism. Engel founded Little Red Media, a multimedia outfit promoting local musicians, and held various roles at Point Park University, including office assistant for the athletics department and photography intern for Pittsburgh City Paper. Engel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Global Cultural Studies from Point Park University.
