Matthew Wineinger

President & CEO at United Sugars

Matthew Wineinger has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Matthew started their career in 1989 as the Director of Retail Programs at the National Live Stock and Meat Board. Matthew then moved on to become the VP of Marketing and Sales at Gargiulo Farms, a division of Monsanto, from 1994 to 1996. After that, Matthew joined Markitecture as the President, Partner, and Founder. In 1997, they became the VP of Marketing in the Vegetable Seeds Division at Novartis Seeds, now known as Syngenta Seeds.

In 2000, they joined Cargill Meat Solutions as the VP of Marketing and later became the Business Unit Leader for the Case Ready division. From 2001 to 2005, Matthew held the role of President of Sales, Marketing, and R&D for Cargill Meat Solutions.

In 2005, they joined Swift & Co, now known as JBS, as the SVP of Retail Sales. Matthew then moved on to become the President of Australia Meat Holdings, a division of Swift and Company, from 2006 to 2007.

In 2008, Matthew joined Tate & Lyle as the President of Bulk Ingredients, where they remained until 2014. Finally, in 2015, they became the President and CEO of United Sugars.

Matthew Wineinger attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2011, where they completed the Stanford Education Program. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University between 1984 and 1988.
