Daniel Sturgess

Daniel Sturgess currently serves as a Marriage Authoriser at the Office of the Chief Rabbi and holds the position of Rabbi at St Albans United Synagogue since August 2014. In addition, Daniel has been involved with The United Synagogue in Events System & Publications since April 2018. Previously, Daniel worked as a Family Educator at Seed - Educating Jewish Families from September 2014 to March 2018, facilitating educational activities for families. Daniel also directed educational and social programmes at Aish UK as the Birmingham Campus Branch Director from September 2010 to August 2014. Other roles include Director of High Holy Days Explanatory Services at Chigwell & Hainault United Synagogue and Lecturer at the L'Chaim Seminar. Daniel's earlier experience includes serving as an Educator at Aish Ha Torah and working as a Cost Management Analyst at IDT Telecom. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Mathematics & European Study from the University of Exeter and Rabbinic Ordination from Aish HaTorah, along with studies at Yeshivat Mir and Ner LeElef.
