Gustavo Barreto

Gustavo Barreto has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Gustavo started their career in 1997 as a Network Manager UNIX and NT System at Colombianet, LTD., where they were responsible for supporting a large number of users and managing network and UNIX administration. From 2000 to 2004, they worked at Internet Total, Inc. as the Manager of Technical Support Engineering, overseeing a team of two IT engineers and handling web development and server configuration.

In 2002, Barreto joined Forest Travel as the IT Director, where they were responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all IT functions for the company. Gustavo directed IT operations, maintained existing infrastructure, and developed new technical solutions.

Barreto then served as the MIS Network Manager at Atlantic Tele-Center, managing network and system administration at a co-located NOC for several subsidiary companies. Gustavo also handled network and VoIP configuration for other subsidiaries.

From 2005 to 2007, Barreto worked as an IT Consultant at First Residential Mortgage, handling system and server management for branch networks and providing support and guidance to staff members. Gustavo later founded their own company, Barreto Consulting Services, Inc., in 2005, where they served as the Owner and Consultant.

In 2009, Barreto joined IPTOGO, LLC as the IT Operations Manager, coordinating strategies for IP telephony and managing engineering projects for VoIP initiatives.

In 2010, Barreto held multiple roles at different companies. At UPCOM Technologies, they worked as an Engineer, providing technical support and training for various systems. At United Teleports, they served as the Engineering Manager, planning and integrating solutions for teleport customers. Gustavo also worked as an Engineer at Disitron Industries, planning and integrating solutions for their customers.

Throughout their career, Barreto has showcased their expertise in IT operations, network administration, system integration, technical support, and project management.

Gustavo Barreto obtained their High School Diploma from Colegio Reyes Catolicos between 1980 and 1989. Gustavo then went on to pursue further education at Universidad del Valle (CO) from 1989 to 2000, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electricity, Electronics, and Computers.
