Rachel Truitt

Rachel Truitt currently serves as a Senior Scientist in Cell Production & Process Development at United Therapeutics Corporation, focusing on iPSC Reprogramming and the development of a GMP compliant process for deriving iPSCs from blood. With prior experience at Century Therapeutics, where Rachel worked on differentiating iPSCs into hematopoietic progenitor cells, and a significant research background at the University of Pennsylvania, Rachel has engaged in diverse projects involving iPSC maintenance and differentiation, flow cytometry, CRISPR editing, and cardiac microtissue modeling. Rachel holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
