Ravi Mehra

Ravi Mehra, Ph.D ASQ CQA, has extensive experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President of QA at United Therapeutics Corp. since 2001. In this role, Ravi has successfully hosted over 15 inspections by the US FDA and EU Regulatory Agencies, achieving results with minimal observations. Ravi transformed an academic laboratory into a compliant quality system for regulated products and previously reestablished QA/Compliance systems for commercial APIs in Silver Spring, MD. Earlier career positions include Senior Manager of QC at Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, where Ravi led QC lab operations to ensure adherence to cGMP and collaborated with R&D to enhance test methodologies. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and postdoctoral research in Organic Chemistry at Rice University.
