Thomas Kaufman

Thomas Kaufman is a Lecturer at the University of Maryland, teaching a course on Real Estate Development since August 2018. In addition, Thomas has held various positions at United Therapeutics Corporation since November 2010, currently serving as Associate Vice President. Key achievements include leading a $135 million net-zero energy headquarters expansion known as "The Unisphere" and a $15 million R&D Center project in Quebec. Thomas also successfully managed a $2 million renovation of the company's legal headquarters. Prior to these roles, Thomas participated in the Core Program of Leadership Montgomery from September 2016 to August 2017. Thomas earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs from American University between 2003 and 2006.
