Yonas Micael

Yonas Micael is a microbiologist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently employed at United Therapeutics since 2016, Yonas has previously held positions at Merck as a QC Specialist and QC Associate, where responsibilities included final product release testing, deviation initiation and investigation, and compliance with cGMP standards. Additional experience includes working as a Manufacturing Associate at Biogen Idec, focusing on upstream processes for drug production and quality assurance procedures. Yonas began a career as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, contributing to research in fungal genetics. Yonas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University, obtained in 2011.
