United Tool & Mold Inc.

Established in 1995, United Tool & Mold, Inc. is a leading provider of engineering changes and repair services for the plastic injection and blow molding industry. Founded on the principles of keeping the plastics industry running, UTM strives to be a one-stop-shop for all mold-servicing needs. From 1995 to 2003 we focused on Engineering Changes and repair of smaller molds. In 2003 we expanded our business to become a major provider of mold repair services for small and large molds up to 125,000 lbs. By purchasing our 2nd facility in Duncan South Carolina and focusing on cost-effective and time sensitive repair services for large tooling, we have become heavily involved with the automotive plastics sector. Since opening the Duncan facility we have doubled the factory size to further expand our capabilities including a 55 metric ton overhead crane and expanded the machining capabilities. In 2008, we expanded again by opening a 30,000 sq ft plant in Rainbow City, AL. In 2018, we broke ground in Liberty, SC at the Pickens County Commerce Park to combine our Duncan and Easley Facilities into one. While we have made many changes to both equipment and the building over the years, our principles remain the same – Keeping the Plastics Industry Running. We pride ourselves on exceeding our customer expectations. We are able to accomplish this through: 1. Quality Craftsmanship 2. Compressed and/or expedient lead times 3. A willingness to do whatever is necessary 4. Competitive pricing. 5. Engineering services 6. Integrating a global perspective to achieve the best concept to development time possible.
