Raz Islam

Raz Islam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer service and account management within the banking sector. Currently serving as a Customer Service Deposit Specialist at United Trust Bank Limited since October 2022, Raz specializes in opening business accounts for complex entities while demonstrating a strong understanding of KYC and KYB requirements. Prior to this, Raz worked at Metro Bank (UK) for eight years, primarily as a Personal & Business Account Opening Specialist, and briefly as an Operations-Savings & Tax Specialist, focusing on compliance with HMRC guidelines. Raz's earlier experience includes roles as a Sales Consultant at Debenhams PLC, a Legal Assessor for London Councils, and a Customer Services Advisor during the London 2012 Olympics. Raz holds a Commercial Law LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Westminster and A Levels from Eastbury Comprehensive School.
