John Browne

John Browne is an experienced Programme Manager and civil engineering professional with a comprehensive background in innovation and infrastructure design. Currently serving as the Programme Manager for Innovation at United Utilities since June 2022, John leads the company's Innovation Programme and oversees initiatives across the sector. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director at SCP, where John directed the North West Infrastructure Design Business, and as an Industrialisation Lead & Innovation Manager at Balfour Beatty, focusing on strategic advancements in various sectors. John has also held key positions within United Utilities, including DfMA Programme Manager, and has extensive experience in managing projects and designs with Jacobs. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
