Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Mark started their career at Wessex Water in 2004 as a Design Coordinator, Site Engineer, and Graduate Engineer. Mark then progressed to the role of Project Engineer before becoming a Design Manager. In 2009, they joined United Utilities as a Design Manager and later took on the role of Senior Design Manager. Mark continued to grow in the company, working as an Area Engineering Manager and Process Safety Manager. Currently, they are serving as Portfolio Lead - Operational Engineering at United Utilities.

Mark Hughes received their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil & Architectural Engineering from the University of Bath, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
