The history of the leadership team at United Utilities can be traced back to when it was first established in 1995. The team has since gone through various changes, with some members leaving and others joining. Some of the previous experiences of the team members include working as a Director of Economic Regulation and Market Reform at Water UK, Director, Competition Group at Ofcom, Assistant Director, Equity Research at ABN AMRO Investment Banking, Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers London, Non Executive Director at JLEN Environmental Assets, Energy & Utility Skills Delivery Board Chair at Energy & Utility Skills, Street Works UK Director at Street Works UK, Managing Director at Amey Plc, Business Director - Water & Gas at Amey, Non Executive Board Member at Engage for Success, Board Member at UK Endorsement Board, Financial Services Audit at KPMG. The team members also have a variety of different educational backgrounds, with degrees from universities such as London Business School, UCLA Anderson School of Management, Manchester University, The University of Sheffield, Robert Gordon University, The Manchester Metropolitan University, INSEAD, Harvard Business School Executive Education and Durham University.
