Dr. Loan Lam

Dr. Loan Lam has a diverse range of work experience in the medical field. Dr. Loan is currently the Medical Director of Wound Services at United Vein & Vascular Centers, where they are responsible for developing and initiating new wound healing and lymphedema programs across multiple states. Previously, they served as a Key Opinion Leader at Urgo Medical North America, where they provided expert advice on clinical use of advanced wound dressings and compression therapy. Dr. Loan also held the role of Chief Executive Officer/Medical Consultant at LVL Medical PLLC, where they consulted on various healthcare projects and oversaw safety protocols for clinical trials. Additionally, Dr. Lam served as a Key Opinion Leader at MicroGenDX, providing expertise on clinical use of microbial diagnostics for chronic infections. Dr. Loan was also the Chief Executive Officer at Medical Providers United LLC, overseeing a group purchasing organization and consulting group focusing on wound care, dermatology, and podiatric markets. Dr. Loan Lam's education history begins with their completion of an internship and residency program at Yale University School of Medicine, ending in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Barry University- School of Graduate Medical Sciences from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Podiatric Medicine. Before their graduate studies, Dr. Lam attended Rice University from 1996 to 2000. Dr. Loan completed high school at Crowley High School in an unknown year.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Lam holds several certifications in the field of wound management. These include being a Certified Hyperbaric & Wound Specialist (CHWS) from The American Board of Wound Healing, Inc., a Certified Lymphedema & Wound Therapist (CLWT) from the International Lymphedema and Wound Training Institute, and a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) from the American Board of Wound Management.
