Thierry D. has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Thierry is currently serving as the CSO-CMO at United Visual Researchers, where they lead the strategy development process and is responsible for global sales and marketing. In addition, they have extensive experience in music as a Fuke Shakuhachi musician and professor, where they taught traditional repertory dedicated to Zen meditation and produced two albums. Thierry has also worked as a business consultant, focusing on enterprise XR/AI e-learning platform development and craft beer business implementation in China. Thierry has held positions as the Director of Global Sales and Marketing at Pixyz, Head of Sales APAC at LIGHT & SHADOWS, and as a freelancer in product development engineering. Prior to that, Thierry worked as the Sales Director at Mackevision and as the Managing Director at VIPES, where they focused on consulting, business development, and sales of CAD, CGI, PLM, and CRM services and solutions. Thierry also worked at Dassault Systèmes 3DEXCITE, where they held the roles of Senior Manager in Strategic Account Management & Development, Head of Asia-Pacific Virtual Marketing, and Global Account Manager for Toyota worldwide operations. Earlier in their career, Thierry served as the Senior Vice President of International Marketing at YAPPA Corporation and President of Yappa Europe SAS.

Thierry D. has a diverse education history. In 1990, they enrolled at the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco) and completed a Master's degree in Japanese language, economics, business, management, international relations, history, and philosophy in 1995. During their time at Inalco, Thierry also had the opportunity to study at Keio University as a Monbusho scholarship student from 1993 to 1994, focusing on Japanese language, economics, and business.

In 2019, Thierry attended MIT Sloan Executive Education for a brief period, specializing in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy. Thierry obtained a certification in the same field from MIT Sloan School of Management in October 2019.
