Becca Bice

Becca Bice is the Director of Economic Advancement at United Way for Greater Austin, a position held since January 2020, where responsibilities include leading initiatives for community economic prosperity, managing grant requirements, and overseeing the Economic Advancement team. Prior experience encompasses roles at United Way as Coalitions Manager, where systems for collaboration were enhanced, and as Project Manager for the Family Connects program, which involved strategic planning and partnership cultivation. Additional experiences include a policy internship at Texas Workforce Commission, a graduate research assistantship at The University of Texas at Austin, and various positions at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and National Geographic Society. Becca holds a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and English from the University of Mary Washington.
