DeAndrea Rogers has a diverse work experience in various educational and community engagement roles. DeAndrea most recently worked as the Parent & Family Engagement Director at United Way for Southeastern Michigan since 2018. Prior to that, they were a Program Associate II at Detroit Public Schools Community District, where they focused on strengthening the relationships between parents, partners, and the school community. DeAndrea also served as the Director of Employee Retention at Education Achievement Authority (EAA) of Michigan from 2012 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist/Program Coordinator at Kansas City Public Schools from 2007 to 2012. Overall, DeAndrea brings a wealth of experience in education, family engagement, and human resources to their work.

DeAndrea Rogers completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Grand Canyon University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University from 2011 to 2014. DeAndrea also began a Master's program in Business at Bonozon Healthcare Pvt Ltd in 2007, but transferred to MidAmerica Nazarene University for their Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
