Jerome Espy

Jerome Espy has diverse work experience in the field of media relations and communications. Jerome currently serves as the Director of Media Relations at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, where they lead advocacy communication efforts and builds media relationships. Jerome is also a Board Member at the Detroit Mottep Foundation. In the past, Jerome has held significant roles at companies like Nfinit Integrated Communications, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Detroit Medical Center, Comcast Midwest Division, Marx Layne & Company, WDIV-TV, and WDSU-TV. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in areas such as public relations, strategic counsel, media management, and event coverage.

Jerome Espy earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from Western Michigan University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended Michigan State University from 1980 to 1986, specializing in Telecommunications and Radio and Television. In addition to their formal education, Jerome has obtained certifications in "How to Stop Wasting Time in Meetings," "Microsoft Planner Essential Training," and "Microsoft Planner Quick Tips" from LinkedIn in 2022.
