Suzette O'Brien

Director Of Volunteer Engagement at United Way of Buffalo & Erie County

Suzette O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Suzette started their career in 1989 as a Traffic Communications Manager at WKBW-TV Channel 7. After working there for four years, they moved on to become the Director of Special Events at The Variety Club Children's charity in 1993. In 1996, Suzette joined United Way of Buffalo & Erie County as a Campaign Manager, a role they held until 2001. Suzette then served as the Director of Emerging Leaders Society from 2001 to 2005 at the same organization. From 2005 to 2009, Suzette held two positions at United Way of Buffalo & Erie County: Vice President of Major Gifts and Director of Volunteer Engagement.

Suzette O'Brien completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication at the University at Buffalo from 1985 to 1989.
