Ashley Runka Owens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital engagement and account management. Currently serving as Manager of Digital Engagement at United Way of Calgary and Area since March 2017, Ashley leads the Workplace Platforms Customer Service and Operations team, focusing on mentorship, inclusion, and cross-functional collaboration. Previously, in roles such as Corporate Account Manager and Major Gifts Officer at the same organization, Ashley was instrumental in developing campaigns, nurturing stakeholder relationships, and achieving fundraising goals. Prior experience includes managing accounts at HealthPartners, coordinating programs for The Kidney Foundation of Canada, and overseeing guest services at Whole Foods Market. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Education degree from The University of British Columbia.
