Heather Hayes is a seasoned professional in social work and community impact, currently serving as a Community Impact Strategist at the United Way of Calgary and Area since April 2021. Previously, as the Family Resource Network Coordinator for the Town of Cochrane, Alberta, from August 2020 to April 2021, Heather oversaw programs aimed at enhancing family resiliency and wellbeing. Heather's experience includes roles as a Youth Transitions to Adulthood System Connector with Calgary and Area Regional Collaborative Service Delivery and as a Program Supervisor and FASD Coordinator at Enviros WSA. Early career roles included managing social assistance cases for the Government of Saskatchewan and providing crisis support at Southwest Crisis Services. Heather holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Regina, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Saskatchewan.
