Krista Armstrong is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Advisor to the President & CEO at United Way of Calgary and Area since August 2023. Previously, Krista held the position of Director of Donor Relations at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, from October 2018 to May 2023. Prior to that, a diverse career at Dalhousie University included roles such as Donor Relations Manager, Senior Donor Relations Officer, and Alumni, Communications and Donor Relations Officer in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences. Krista began a freelance writing career with Springboard Atlantic in 2010 and has also held various positions in alumni and external relations at Mount Saint Vincent University and Saint Mary's University. Krista holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King's College and a BA in Psychology from McGill University.
