Wendy M.

Wendy M. has extensive experience in various roles related to community impact, partnerships, and planning. Wendy most recently served as the Director of Community Impact & Partnerships at the United Way of Calgary and Area. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager for the Community Hubs Initiative at the same organization. Wendy has also held managerial positions at the City of Vancouver, where they were the Manager of Democratic Engagement and a Planner in the Social Policy & Projects division. Wendy has also worked as an adjunct professor at the UBC School of Community and Regional Planning and held roles at the University of Toronto and the District of North Vancouver. Wendy M. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in an unspecified field of study from the University of Calgary. Wendy then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Women's Studies at Simon Fraser University. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography from Simon Fraser University as well. Wendy M. later completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Toronto, specializing in the CIHR Centre for Urban Health Initiatives.
