Ashley Gaudiano

Senior Vice President, Community Impact at United Way of Coastal and Western CT

Ashley Gaudiano has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ashley currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Community Impact at United Way of Coastal and Western CT, where they lead and oversees community impact initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Resource Development & Marketing at the same organization.

Before joining United Way, Gaudiano worked as a Principal at Horizon Communications Group, LLC. Ashley also served as the Director of External Affairs at the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants, where they led development, communications, marketing, advocacy, and strategic partnership efforts.

In addition, Gaudiano has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as a Senior Manager of Communications and Public Outreach at Wholesome Wave. Ashley was responsible for managing the organization's communications, public relations, marketing, and brand strategy.

Ashley also gained legal experience through various roles, including a Judicial Externship at the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, a Law Clerk position at the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Illinois, and a Law Clerk role at the Cook County Public Defender's Office.

Gaudiano's early career included a Law Clerk position at the Illinois Attorney General's Office and a Legal Internship at the Office of State Senator Heather Steans.

Overall, Gaudiano has demonstrated their versatility and expertise in community impact, resource development, marketing, communications, and legal affairs throughout their career.

Ashley Gaudiano obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and International Studies from Elon University, where they attended from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ashley Gaudiano has obtained several certifications. Ashley has been licensed as an attorney by the State of Connecticut since May 2016 and by the State of Maryland since November 2011. Furthermore, they completed a certification program in Nonprofit Financial Success offered by Cornell University in February 2021.
