Erin Newman

Erin Newman is a Community Capital Specialist at United Way of Greater Los Angeles, where responsibilities include strategy, project management, and operations focused on affordable housing and community wealth-building initiatives. Previously, Erin held the position of Community Capital Coordinator, leading projects that leverage capital markets for affordable housing and local business support in Los Angeles. Erin's experience includes serving as Director of Operations at SIMA STUDIOS, overseeing a vast network of filmmakers and stakeholders. Additionally, Erin worked as a freelance videographer, a digital organizer and multimedia producer for the Courage Campaign, and as an associate producer and archival researcher for Brave New Films. Erin's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and an individualized Bachelor's degree from NYU Gallatin.
