Dom Portis

Dom Portis is a dedicated professional in the field of education and community engagement, currently serving as the Community Schools High Schools Manager for the Milwaukee Community Schools Partnership with the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County since October 2021. Prior experience includes work as a Community School Coordinator at Milwaukee Christian Center, where responsibilities included family and community engagement, along with partnership management at Bradley Tech High School. Dom also held positions as a Social & Emotional Learning Coordinator with Milwaukee Succeeds and as a Teaching Fellow at HOPE Christian Schools, contributing to the development of social emotional learning and instruction for young students. Earlier roles included team lead in a commercial retail design company, program assistant for university events promoting diversity, and positions in brand marketing and client services. Dom holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King HS.
