Adam Smith has over 19 years of professional experience in marketing and communications. Adam began their career in 2002 as a District Executive at Otetiana Council, where they created and designed promotional materials, organized special events for fundraising, and oversaw the creation and implementation of an online registration system. In 2008, they became the Marketing Communications Coordinator at Crosman, where they interfaced with media to provide information and products to ensure maximum media exposure at a minimum cost. In 2009, they worked as a Freelance Marketer for the Greater Niagara Frontier Council, BSA. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Team Manager at Sutherland Global Services, where they developed consultants through tactical coaching/feedback and provided ongoing training. In 2013, they joined the YMCA of Greater Rochester as the Director of Marketing and Branding and Creative Services Director, where they led and managed integrated marketing campaigns and oversaw and coordinated all Association-wide collaterals. In 2020, they moved to Tipping Point Communications as the Sr. Client Strategy & Relations Supervisor, and in 2021 they started as the Sr. Marketing Associate at United Way of Greater Rochester.
Adam Smith attended State University of New York College at Oswego from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a BA in Public Relations/Communications. Prior to that, they attended Victor HS.
