Katie Seelman

Katie Wawrzaszek, M.A., currently serves as the Major Gifts Officer at United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, where responsibilities include leading the planned giving program and developing a legacy society. Previously, Katie held roles such as Major Gifts Associate and Community Engagement Specialist at danceability, inc., demonstrating resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic by adapting engagement strategies. Additional experience includes positions as Museum Educator at the Museum of Florida History, External Affairs Associate at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and various roles in human resources and dance instruction. Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University at Buffalo, along with a Master’s degree from Florida State University.
