Nadia Gandara is the Senior Director of Racial Equity Strategies at United Way of King County, a position held since November 2015. In this role, Nadia designs and implements a comprehensive racial equity vision, develops organizational metrics for monitoring progress, and advises on structures and policies to ensure alignment with anti-racist practices. Previous positions at United Way include Director and Project Manager focused on racial equity initiatives. Before joining United Way, Nadia served as Program Manager and Coordinator at Sociedad Latina Inc, enhancing workforce development for youth. Other experience includes leadership roles at Target, where operations and team member training were key responsibilities. Nadia holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Spanish from Seattle University.
