Lori Miller

United Way Volunteer at United Way of Lake County

Lori Miller has extensive experience in education and community service, currently serving as a United Way Volunteer since February 2010, where involvement includes tutoring and leadership within the Women United affinity group. Lori has been a member of the Foundation Board of Directors for Wonderland Camp for People with Disabilities since August 2006, focusing on fundraising to provide accessible recreational activities for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Lori has experience as a College ESL Instructor at the College of Lake County and served as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Waukegan Public Schools through a United Way program. Past professional roles include significant leadership positions at Hewitt Associates, including Communication Consulting Practice Leader for North America. Lori holds a B.S. in Communication Studies and Political Science from Northwestern University and has earned a TESOL Certificate and ESL endorsement from the College of Lake County.
