Daniel Kasambira is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management and community engagement. Currently serving as President & CEO of United Way of Madison County since April 2022, Daniel emphasizes a Culture of Excellence through the 5 C's of Character, Customer Service, Cleanliness, Community Outreach, and Commitment to Staff Development. Previous roles include Chief Development and Community Engagement Officer at Heart of the Valley YMCA and Executive Director at Hogan Family Branch YMCA, where leadership was demonstrated in managing substantial budgets and membership bases. Prior to this, Daniel held positions that focused on enhancing student experiences at Alabama A&M University and driving fundraising activities at United Way of Central Alabama. Daniel holds a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan University.
